There is only 1 ramp here, yes? Has there been any problems with break ins lately?

Yes there is only 1 ramp. I don't know about any recent break-ins but I don't leave anything to see in the truck(and bed) when I go out there.

Like said above, don't leave anything visible. It is a lot better since they came in and cleared out all the brush.

Most of the lake is quite clear of stumps. Right by the boat ramp is a submerged timber area, but keep to your left leaving the ramp, and you'll be fine.

The lake is horseshoe-shaped with the hot water discharge on the ramp side.

We were there today. There was smoke coming out of a stack early in the day but the water was basically the same temperature on both sides. Thery were apparently circulating water evidenced by water movement.

This was the 1st time we had been on this lake. It is safe to run in the lake with timber having been left only in the small coves on the sides of the horseshoe. There is a major timber area at the boat ramp. You will easily know how to get past it due to the floating booms.

The water was clear but about 1 foot low. There is an amazing amount of vegetation. I don't know if we just caught the lake on an off day but fishing sucked. We started off with a fat 3 pounder but only managed 3 ultra dinks after that. At about 2pm, I decided it just wasn't happening today and called it quits.

I would like to come back some day.
