At my local the scourge is electric ride around carts. There are 20 or so at any given time. This is probably how I will die, runned over by a dangEd old cart.

My solution to all of this is to do my shopping between 6:30 - 7:00 AM. No crowded aisles and it is over and done with and have the rest of day for other things.

In my mind the rules of the road apply to shopping carts in stores also. You drive on the right side. You yield to the bigger street, if you are lost you pull off, not stop in the middle. You dont leave your car in the middle of road when you need to get something. You proceed with the flow of traffic. I dont think this is asking too much. You are not wrong at all.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

I said the exact same thing to my wife yesterday while at the grocery store. But my biggest pet peeve is the lazy SOB who leave their cart in the parking spaces. Just how damn lazy are you? Most empty shopping carts I see are left within 30 feet of the cart return.

My pet peeve is all the displays blocking the aisles. Isn't this a safety hazard?

Ain't going to happen, most of the shoppers don't know the Entrance from the Exit at the front of the store.
