OP SenkoSam Pro Angler S Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 780 Walden, N.Y.	A few year ago I had to net over 120 pounds of dead fish that floated to the surface after ice out. That year the pond was down over 5' and the bank too steep for a snow blower. 4' of snow is more than enough to prevent bottom weeds producing oxygen during the day and a build up of carbon dioxide to toxic levels suffocating fish. Broke my heart considering the large bass that that died which had grown over four years. This year won't be a problem if we get another storm because a great deal of rain allowing easy snow removal from the ice. Last edited by SenkoSam; 12/09/19 07:54 PM.
