Do they not have any natural predators?

Do they not have any natural predators? Google says there nothing that regularly prey's on the adults. Bald eagles will occasionally eat one. Foxes, gulls, raccoons, etc... occasionally eat the eggs. We nearly had them extinct in the 70s. That's one we should have maybe finished the job on. Cormorants and mosquitoes. I say we run an extinction experiment and see what happens.

I've caught a ton of catfish under their nest.

Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

I've caught a ton of catfish under their nest. Yep, did that on Fork once. Problem was I was crappie fishing In FIL's boat and all I had was ultralight equipment. Fun but lost quite a few.
