Hey guys,
Hows the parking situation right there below the Lavon dam, where the E. Fork Trinity crosses the 78 bridge. I have not fished there in years, and I know they re-worked the area. Is there still parking right there under the bridge? Is it legal to park there? Would appreciate some updated info.

I saw 6 cars parked on the south side of 78, just east of the bridge, as I was heading to Lavonia South around noon today. Must have been good crappie fishing in the river today.

How do they get to those parking spaces? I don't see anywhere they can get off 78 to either side.

They are probably hopping the curb to park. Its definitely not as easy to park as it used to be.
