Went to the vet’s yesterday for heart worm stuff for my pups.

Sis had asked if I would get some food for her little guy.

The girl at the desk looked up...asked “Is this for Hudson?” Hudson is my sisters dog.

They don’t just know you...they know who you are related to...and which dogs.

Life in a small town....

Small town living is good and bad.
But I can't wait to get back to a small town people talking and think they know my business I'll take over the rat race
of the big city.

Our town is 2000 people. My daughter owns a pet grooming and boarding business.
She know most of the dogs and their owners. When a dog is found out running around the people who find it call my daughter and she knows the owner most of the time.

What’s the bad? So far, I see no drawbacks. It’s AWESOME.

I wouldn't trade my small town of 4000 for any amount of city living, been here 46 years.

Small towns are rumor mills.. Try not to give them anything to talk about or do your stuff on the down low Having said that I'll never live in a place where i can't pee off the porch without risking arrest. Love our lifestyle.

Before coming to Temple, TX. I lived in Las Vegas, NV. (before that, Tampa, FL. and Phx. AZ.).

I would never, ever consider returning to any kind of large city.

Same here. Only reason I would move is to get further out in the country.

Absolutely. I lived in Rockwall for 17 years prior to moving to ETex last year. LOVE living out here. City living is for chicks and libs. It was how much Rockwall grew, especially in the last few years. It became a beating traffic-wise.

To be fair, traffic is annoying here in the tobacco harvest. You get stuck behind one of those wagons hauling the leaf to the barn...just shoot yourself.

But the odds are you can pass them anywhere on the road, odds are there isn't anybody coming.

It is all hills and turns all the way to the village. Passing is virtually impossible.

The view over AT&T Stadium from the Good Year blimp speaks volumes for small towns.
