Nice rio. Those guys also fight a lot amongst themselves just like most cichlids. Their teeth easily take off a few scales and nick the skin when they nip each other; that opens up the area to local fungal or bacterial infection. Thank you jaymzinsa for your reply agreed they do have some sharp tiny teeth.

All year long you and Pot Licker have been catching em. It's great having places you can go where you know their patterns. Awesome post and fish. Thanks Laker One for your reply! PL and I have had a great year so far. The places we fish have clear water and i think it makes it a little easier patterning the fish when you can see them cast to them and watch their reaction to your bait. Yes Sir fishing in clear water conditions does have some advantages!
