What is the best square bill crankbait for the mid to shallow depth range with mid 40° water temperature? Thinking of Grand Lake Oklahoma in March.

I like Rapala DT4 & DT6. I’d also fish an Xcite bait.

I like Rapala DT4 & DT6. I’d also fish an Xcite bait. The 4 and 6 are not squarebills. What is the best square bill crankbait for the mid to shallow depth range with mid 40° water temperature? Thinking of Grand Lake Oklahoma in March. Mid 40s I’m going original Speed Trap.

H2O squarebills from Academy. Eh. Not a bad choice in a pinch. SK 1.5 or 2.5 is my choice. Just change the hooks first.

It should be spinnerbait heaven and 50's by March. If it's mid 40's ditch the sqarebill, an a-rig and jerkbait is all you need.

I throw a lot of square bills and have tried several different ones but one of my favorites hands down is the Xcite XB 1 great colors with a weight transfer system which stops tumbling during the cast which adds distance. Check them out. You wont be disappointed. www.Xcitebaits.com
