I throw a Power Tackle Ultimate Crankbait rod with a super duty wide 5.1. The rod is expensive but it very well could be the best 10xd rod made. The power in the rod is incredible Same blank as the Kistler helium 3, just a 100 bucks more.

I throw my magnum cranks on a 7' 2" Shimano Expride MH glass rod with a 5.5:1 old Chronarch. Probably would build myself one in a judge blank. Built on for a guy throwing a 6xd....says it feels like a small crank bait on the rod. It was 7'10"
