Depends which model. Some are still made/assembled in Japan

I did 2 Tacomas and a Tundra. Not sure where 4 Runbers are made. I think they are still made in Japan. I used to be a diehard buy American. Ford pushed my switch to Toyota. Why buy inferior American made vehicles. Maybe you like to also support dealer service centers.

4Runners and Land Cruisers are still made in Japan. Tacomas and Tundras are made here in the US. Texas actually.

My dad was a diehard GM guy growing up. Everything we bought was GM. My first truck was a Chevy. And after all the oil leaks, fuel pumps, transmission problems, etc. I decided to try something different and haven't really looked back. I do like the looks of the new Silverados but I just don't know if I can stomach buying one.

Needless to say when she wants a new on it will be another 4Runner. By the way I am pulling a Champion 188 DCX with the 2003 and get around 12 MPG.

Iā€™m renting one in CO this week and impressed with the performance in snow and on ice. My only complaint is the aerodynamics covers the rear window with spray and wiper is too small to clear it .
