 Louisiana Inshore Fishing Recommendation

Every year I get my boys and future son in law some sort of adventure that we can do together. This year it was a NASCAR experience driving the cars which is a lot of fun at 160mph.
One of them is in Tampa FL and I was thinking about doing a guys weekend in Louisiana so both groups can drive and meet in the middle so to speak.
I'm looking for something where we can hang together in a place for about 3 days and do nothing but get out on the water and just spend time together.
I'm looking for recommendations.

If you would consider inshore ,, I would suggest Shell Beach , La. Fish camps ( think double wides on stilts ) right across the street from the boat docks. Great Trout and redfishing. contact http://www.saltydogchartersllc.com/ or http://jakamosouth.com/ MO

Yes - sorry inshore fishing is what we are after. I'm a freshwater guy mostly so the lingo slips me sometimes.

Venice Louisiana. Rent a house boat at Venice Marina. Go inshore two days and offshore one day.

Been to Hackberry Rod and Gun many times. Awesome guides. Best bet in Louisiana.

Check out the Chandeleur Islands. That would be the ultimate trip for what you're describing.
