Thinking about heading out there tomorrow, haven’t been in about 25 years. Can you run the lake or are there hazards? I don’t remember.

Saw him out there yesterday. He stayed up there pretty much the whole day...He was at the ramp when I was launching and I tried to spark a friendly convo and he wasn’t having it...

Lots of stumps to hit on this lake especially if you are going north of the ramp. If you do not know the lake then I would idle. Since the lake is about 3 feet low, lots of area you could run now has hazards.

I don’t fish up North. Nothing against it just don’t want to deal with all the traffic. But in the parking lot you could tell he thought his stuff didn’t stink.

Get there early! Otherwise you'll be parking on the side of the road a mile away.

Don't dunk your trailer too deep, it is a steep ramp, drive it on (you'll thank me later).
If you don't have 4-wheel drive, carry some sand bags or something to keep you rear end down if you do dunk too deep when picking up your boat.

I'll get you some info, partner!
The discharge is right by the ramp, C-Rig Fluke in Watermelon Red (or your other color).

There is a road-bed that runs out from the south bank. The school may be backed off into the main channel. As you are headed to the dam, stay in the middle! BIG rock piles on your right and timber on your left! After you get to the last point, hang a left, two good deep points and brush piles in there.

Planning on going tomorrow but concerned about the ramp conditions after/with all the rain. I’ll be launching alone and don’t want to risk any problems at the ramp with trailer or truck getting stuck or trailer going off the back end of the ramp with lake being so low. If anyone was out there today and can provide an update, would be much appreciated. Thank you

Very tough for me yesterday... managed 21 fish and 3 overs but not the same it has been the past few weeks. Hot water wasn’t being generated. The water temps dropped about 6 degrees from last weekend. The lake is getting lower everytime and I probably won’t be back until it fills back up.

We fished out there on Friday. Not sure how much the rains we got Saturday helped with the lake level but I watched just about every boat try to load and unload not have their motor trimmed up high enough and they were hitting the gravel bed right off the ramp. I also think there may even be a couple of small rocks down there as well from the sound I heard one boat make. Just make sure you are trimmed up REALLY high when loading and unloading.
