The thread on steaks and brisket got me thinking...

Every year I make a large bone-in prime rib for Christmas. I used to have a local butcher that knew exactly what I wanted when I stepped into the front door. Is there anywhere near me, Pilot Point, that I can visit and try out their selections prior to the holidays.

I'm not opposed to going to a Kroger or anything, I just found that a local butcher is where I gravitate.

I use the one on the square in Pilot Point and so does everyone who lives here. SE corner. He doesn't mix the meat with other people. You deliver a hog..... you get your hog how you ordered it. Grandpas German sausage please.

Muenster have their own feed lots. Never took an animal there. It is like box of chocolates
