With respect, that's what maps and sonar cards are for. Little unreasonable to expect someone to type out all the places you can and can't run on a reservoir as large as Texoma. Is there an area in particular you're wanting guidance on?

Seriously.. Cabin cruisers out there can make some serious wakes, and they can get on you in a hurry. You are running just fine one sec, then , with very little warning, you are in 5' rollers doing 65 trying to hang on..

Washita point is one place to stay away from . Do not cut this corner short . Trust me !

Most of the lake is trouble free. I'll add to what has been mentioned. The east point going into the big mineral arm is a little tricky. The railroad and 70 bridge are best to use the main span unless you are certain where the concrete cross supports are. The very far west end close to the mouth of the red is very silted in and has some timber. Keep an eye on you gps for a couple of other shallow spots.

I have often wondered how many boats have been totaled running through the spans that have the cross members, I think the spans should all have skull and cross bone emblems on them, lol. Washita point is bouyed off at least, bet it has the record for lower units.

For the most part Texoma is clean when lake is at normal level. I know there is some concrete stuff near Platters. I don't go north of the RR bridge but I have been up to the mouth of the Red. When you get within sight of the mouth you will normally start seeing the stumps.

The wakes are the problem at Texoma, and they're not that easy to see sometimes. I really don't like that feeling when you get completely airborne. The landing hurts.

My point is generic questions are going to get generic answers. I can second the warning on cabin cruiser wakes there. The boat can be out of sight by the time the wake gets to you so you have to be aware at all times.
