This is a really good question! I’ve been using this cheap Cabela's scale for a couple years now and I hate it. When I weigh large fish it’s hard for me to hold on to the rope/scale. Definitely interested to hear what everyone has to say.

You won’t be disappointed. I’ve tried several and there was some good ones, several bad ones but this one is my favorite. Fold out handles, weighs up to 110 lbs, bright light when using at night and my favorite part is they use regular batteries and not watch or disk batteries.

Yeah i ended up ordering some other product from W.S. I know I will be back to order some other stuff. Now all I need to do is hook up on a monster or two.

Those WS scales are what I use. Now I just need to catch a cat that exceeds 20 lbs! (and get another boat).

Yes the screws in the battery plate are tiny, but on a good note batteries seem to last a long time. I use quality batteries and scale is 2 years old and just replaced a couple weeks ago. They were still working but I went ahead and changed them because I was headed to the coats to chase bull reds. Plus changing batteries is easier at home.

very little screws. LOL. I had to get out my white working on reel towel. So i wouldn't misplace them. I am excited about the schale. I am also going to test the 20 lbs orange line also. i need the big boys to be biting tomorrow. Tawakoni here I come.
