That brings up an interesting question.....how many on this forum are born and raised in TX and how many moved here later in life?

Born and raised here in southeast Texas, move to Sam Rayburn a few year back. Worked and fished all over the US. Lol

Welcome again Jessa! My family came to Texas in the early 1800’s, but I’m not quite that old! Grew up in Beaumont area just east of you now and I’m now retired near Sam Rayburn lake in Lufkin.
