So this might be a stupid question but if I wanted to replace my lead batteries with these I would need 1 36 volt and 1 12 volt battery correct?

So I would be eliminating 2 batteries in the process and several pounds of weight?

A 36v and a 12v combined will weigh about 75lbs. Close to the same as one group 31 deep cycle so you would be eliminating about 150lbs.

I used 3 for my tm 50ah relions and one 100ah for my start.

I eliminated 150 by also going to a smaller charger system.

positives are the charge rate, weight, life (3-5000 cycles) and the performance each and every day.

Weight was my last concern.

Id suggest going three becasue if one fails you can stick a walmart in there and fish on.

Some yes, some no. It depends on the manufacturer so be sure and ask that question.

Ask the battery manufacturer. Some advise a 36V Charger for a 36V Battery, 24V Charger for a 24V, & 12V Charger for 12V Batteries. I have a single 36V Battery 40 Ah & don’t ever run out of power in a day on the water. It weighs in at 24#’s. Call me if you want more info. 325-998-6077.

It's all about amp hours. 1 36v battery with 40 amp hours may not be enough if you fish hard just like 1 12v battery with 50 amp hours wont run a boat on tournament day. I would suggest at least 50 amp hours for the troller( if it's a 36v) and at least 80 amp hours for the starting battery. I would go 100 on my starting battery

I have 1 125 amp starting and three 100amp hours for trolling. Took 175 pounds out of the rear of the boat. Never look back.

Yo Jeff From Iowa, do they rate LI batteries different than lead acid and AGM? Most of those troller batteries are 100 ah or greater. You mentioned yours are 50. The ones on the eBay link are 40. Just learning here.

Bite the bullet and get the highest amp lithiums they have, typically 100ah. You won't regret it. Get two crankers and two trollers, if you run your main down you can jump it with the other troller. The Relion cranker is RB100H. The troller is RB100.The troller WILL NOT crank a motor. I would stay away from the 36v single, three 12v singles will outlast the 36v according to Relion. The only thing about the charger, get the highest amp charger, 15amp min., you can. Any charger will work, but the higher amp chargers work better according to Relion. I'm running mk460PC with no problems. I'm doing a field test on a Trojan Trillium lithium cranker. Seems to be OK but it is not as high amp output as the Relion.
