Any updates from Lake Tawakoni? Would think that the fall bite would start to pick up for the hybrids and stripers!

If I were a betting man, I'd say the bite is on at lake Tawakoni. East TX lakes turn on cple weeks earlier than the western lakes.

Went yesterday fished from about 8:30-12:00. Headed to the dam are and marked a good scool in 22 ft. Made a couple of passes thru with arigs and picked up some good hybrids biggest 24 in. Stayed in same area rest of the time and found fish from 15-30 ft. Sandies hybrids and some smaller stripers mixed in. Ended up with a two man limit of good hybrids and some fat sandies for the table. Weather was great and fish were agressive.

We found a bunch of big sandbass at several places but got skunked on the hybrids. It was still a nice day to be out.

Went out Sunday and found sandies and hybrids in 23ft of water. Bait balls everywhere. Best bite came when the wind blew just enough to give a little chop on the water. When the wind died, so did the bites. No where near the dam, but sounds like fish are staying active.
