Aledo plays Dallas Kimball That should be a thrashing of the highest order. Aledo is good for sure but not what it was defensively the last year or 2. I dont know how deep they can go. My gut says 3 rounds but idk. Go Bearcats!

Ennis (9-1) vs Frisco Reedy (6-4) Saw Reedy play in person. Ennis should handle them easiliy.

Gilmer (7/3) VS Farmersville (2/8) will be playing at Tyler Rose Thursday. Will not be much of a game for us. Dont expect to see any real competition till 3rd Round.
Also going to see Gladewater VS Hughes Springs Friday at Pinetree Stadium which should actually be a good game.

Couple of down years recruiting on the defensive side? 1 high school town with a ton of growth, solid tax base, very well coached....no need to break the rules. Buddy of mine coaches varsity FB and power lifting there. They have some athletes that grew up in Aledo that are 3rd string but could start most places in the same classification.

Humbled to be on the sideline Thursday night in McKinney for Pottsboro and Kemp. It will be interesting to see Thursday night. Pottsboro 63 Kemp 0

Don't know what district they are in, but we had to standby at a playoff game between Anthony (by El Paso) and Coahoma last night and it was 56 Coahoma to Anthony's 0 at the START of the 2nd quarter. Ended up 69 to 7. Very quick game.
But, what does a coach tell his team at half time when they are getting whopped like that?
