5th generation Texan-born and raised. Don't really see myself ever living anywhere else.

Mark, as I remember you are from New Mexico. Well if you go back and look at the original map of Texas when it was made a state, you were probably born in the original Texas. We just let NM annex that part because we didn't want to mess with the mountains.

I’m kin to John Wesley Hardin Scagnetti, the fastest gun to ever come out of Italy, TX, so I don’t have to tell you about how deep my Texas roots run

Texas is changing everyday I see myself leaving to Oklahoma

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

I was not born in Texas.

I was actually born up north in Michigan where Dad was working (He's from E. Tenn., Mom's from Arkansas and SE Tx). I moved here when I was 2.5 (folks divorced back in the 50's before it was a thang) and lived here since with a few stints out of state but never more than 2 years. Grew up here, want to die here, prolly will. My only and nearest living relative (my sister) retired to the family farm in E. Tenn.

John Wesley Hardin hid out in the Big Thicket part of SE Tx . Hardin County named after the family

Born in Texas, worked in Georgia for five years and will probably die in Texas. If i ever move out of state it will be to Mississippi.

Born in Oklahoma but have lived in Texas since I was 3 (the 50's) and love it like I was born here. Married a Texas girl and we have 3 children all born in this great state. I never plan on leaving as I can't think of a better place to go.

Never heard of the town I live in until I moved here 18 years ago. I guess that's why the feds at the witness protection program picked it. Maybe someday they'll let me leave.
