Thank you Dan! My bow and stern lights just came in today. I went with LED. I also made a mount to raise my Hummin Bird up and closer to me so I'm not having to lean forward all the time. Also thinking about a spider rig up front for 4 or 6 poles. My mind needs a kill switch according to my wife. She claims I always go "over the top on things". Lol
My latest addition was some LED bow and stern lights I love to fish at night in the summertime. Also got a little green light to put in the water at night. I think I might be at a stopping point.
A stereo and a stripper pole and that thing will be ready for the sand bar.
All kidding aside I had a similar rig years ago when I was stationed in Kansas. Kept in the back of my truck to fish all the ponds on base. Came in handy duck hunting as well. Should have never gotten rid if it.
LOL tmd11111. Don't put that in my head. I actually have a bluetooth speaker and play music when I've gone out the last few times. I also have a Ryobi fan that works off one of my 18V lithium batteries. So all I need is just a stripper pole. Can't wait to see the look on my wifes face when I stick an 8ft metal fence pole in the thing.
Hey CC Your Rig looks GREAT! I really like the Navigation Lights up front. Do you have a Stern light? What material did you use for your Spider set up? I just used some schedule 40 pvc & some old fashioned rod holders
I used some 3/4 inch gas pipe with 90 degree elbows and flanges. Can't recall what the thing was called that clamps to that pipe but it has the exact size threading I needed for the 3/8 rod holders. I also bought some 3/8 all thread and some couplers to extend them up to the height I wanted. I'm going to make a set for the other side also. Just havent got around to it yet.
I am trying to figure out a canopy or umbrella that won't be in the way. Oh and I have a cooler! I don't go fishing without it. Lol
If someone hasn't already mentioned it, you need a 360 degree white light visible for 2 miles if you're fishing at night. Doesn't matter what kind of boat you're fishing from. Don't want to get run over.
