What kind of remote , and operator do you have ? That shouldn’t happen like that .

you should go buy some size 13 or bigger shoes. open the door, put them next to the house entry door, then close the G-door. wait for drama to unfold.

UNLESS !! unless he was reprogramming some remotes and by chance you were in range and just so happen to hit your remote in that little 30 second window . Those remotes don’t just wake up one day and start to open other peoples doors .
But you have a cool way to jack with him I’d wait til he was outside one day and start jacking with it .

Fun fact : your remotes work on a government Owned frequency . And certain times your remote will not work ( especially if you are close to a military/Air Force base ) because the government will hijack the frequency channel for whatever they are doing . So basically we just borrow it until they need to use it and they give it back . Learned this the hard way . It’s even in fine print on the back of some of the older remotes and instructions .

The auto gate opener on a pasture would come open at times once. Finally figured out one of the hands cell phone was opening it if close enough when used. Reset code and no more problems. ?????
