So who here has had one? Are they really that good? I love me some Popeye’s! The only thing that sucks is the one by me isn’t that great. I’m not sure if it’s the franchise owner, manager or workers but each time I go to this particular Popeye’s I am disappointed. Every other Popeye’s is great! So to get the real experience I think I’m going to find one by my work and try it there. I guess the reason I’m asking is because I see in the news a dude got stabbed to death over a dispute standing in a line for them. I really want to try one, but I also don’t want to get stabbed to death!!

Every time I go there they are not selling them or they are sold out. But to get stabbed to death, I think i'll wait a while till the newness wears off.

It's a chicken sandwich! I happen to like chicken sandwiches but there has never been one that I would wait in line for any more than five minutes. Popeye's has a great marketing department to have created such a frenzy.

they are good but I am not gonna go out of my way to find/get one. same as eating tenders on bread imo.

You know, there ARE other places to get a chicken sandwich. Chik-fil-a makes a great spicy chicken sandwich.
