I am not sure on the sizes of water pipes in a lake water system but I will give you an example of our circ water pumps at the power plant. We had 2 Foster Wheeler 60" pumps that were pumping into a 66" concrete pipe. Those pumps would pump 250,000 gals a minute each. Our bigger unit had 2 Ingersoll Rand 66" pumps that would pump 285,000 gals per minute each.

The pipeline at bois darc lake is 90 inches in diameter. Drove down today on private road i have access to and watched them cutting trees off another big creek. Does anyone have an idea why they are cutting all the timber off all the creeks

Seems like I read they are leaving all the timber south of the bridge except for a boat lane.

Think thats what someone posted coule days ago Grew up in this area and hunted lots of land over 20 years where the lake is. Mostly flat so leaving timber would have been nice but they building it for water Got picts of a lot of it and what it used to look like

Why though?

Costs money to do that. Why would they wanna spend more than they must?

Timber is very valuable. They can get paid good money to let someone log it for them.

They didnt want to lg it out ,said it would take too long Not enough left now to log if they wanted too Just like they said at first they were not gonna cut timber off the creeks then they changed their mind and cutting it all
