Probably right but it is all about moderation and a case of energy drinks a day is not moderation. I personally have never had one energy drink I am too high strung as it is. I get a buzz from 2 cups of decaf black coffee in the AM
grin and I don’t drink any soft drinks just water and some Powerade Zero if sweating a lot and I might have tea once per week. All that said I think you would be hard pressed to find any doctor who would say energy drinks are good for you and probably would be don’t drink very many if at all.

I'm not arguing that any of them are good for you...just pointing out that many of the naysayers are steady slurping a few pots of coffee and drinking soft drinks like water but then they get all soapbox about energy drinks.... cheers

I like a pick me upper in the AM. I take fresh squeezed lemon juice and put Into about 8oz of warm water. For me it is a good boost of energy before a cup of java..

I don't drink any of the commercial stimulant drinks. I drink 2 cups of coffee a day in the morning and very rarely I'll have a cup in the afternoon. Most things in moderation are OK for the body. A case of Monsters a day or 2 pots of coffee a day is not moderation. Might as well smoke a little crack or meth.

Never had a energy drink of any kind and drink maybe two sodas a week. Usually drink 12ozs of coffee a day.

Just about anything will kill you in mass quantities. Please cite your source that says they are any more dangerous than a can of coke when consumed in moderation.

If you read the original post, the poster asked for our opinion whether Monster was bad for you. I gave my opinion. I have no source for an opinion other than my personal observation and beliefs. Drink em if you got em. I don’t care.

Hate to say it but if she weighs 350 these will probably push her over the edge but are the least of her worries.

It's amazing that the woman thinks she is going to lose weight while consuming 5280 calories of energy drink every four days.

She might need the extra energy to walk a few steps to the pantry and grab that box of twinkies. It's really none of my business what other people put in their bodies.

Unless you pay heath care premiums, deductibles, co pays, etc.
Not that obesity related health problems are driving up the costs of health care.
I'm sure there are unknown factors driving up costs.
Yeah, I'm sure lifestyle choices have absolutely nothing to do with it.

I can’t speak for monster but I used to drink Red Bull everyday. Then I spilled some on the deck of the boat and the next time I got in the carpet melted where I had spilled it. Never drank one again.

Actually I think she was drinking the sugar free variety and my wife said she had one left when we got back so she consumed 23 over the 4 days. She is 51 yrs old, her and my cousin drive a over the road 18 wheeler 5 or 6 days a week. He told me they average between 6 & 7,000 miles a week. She drives as much as he does. She seems to be fairly healthy. My last example for now. While we were at Branson we went to Bass Pro and she bought a couple of men's 3X size shirts for her. She should have bought 4X it looked to me like.
