But, it was still a great day because I was out there with my lovely wife. Didn’t catch any big ones and then the day after when we took the yak out, the creek was choked with that filamentous algae! Hope y’all still enjoy!

As always. Neat video. Good job Torey! I appreciate it, Chuck! Slowly getting better and better. Still trying to figure out the relationship with the camera, but getting better every vid, hopefully.

Jagg you and Vogey are "Naturals" in front of a camera! As always enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing. Side Note: What is your go to lure during the winter while fishing creeks, lakes, and rivers?

I appreciate it Vogey and Laker! Every day fishing with my lovely wife is a good day no matter what! I like moving water fishing. Creeks, rivers and streams, but moving water really pays off in the winter. The bite is much more consistent in my experience. In winter I find a 3/4” - 2.25” tube is gonna be the best bet so that’s what I reach for first. The colder the weather and the more towards the dead of winter, the better the tube bite will get.

Thanks Jagg. I also love using the tube jigs during the winter time. The grubs also work good along with the Gulp Alive Leaches and Minnows. Side Note: Enjoyed the second video also. Looks like a lot of colder weather ahead.

I appreciate it all, Gents!
Laker, I think the more subtle action of tubes and the GA minnows and leeches do better in the Winter months in my experience. I’ve caught a few on the grub in Winter, mainly because it has worked fir me so frequently in all other seasons I have a hard time putting it down. It seems slow hopping or dragging the tube is my better bet, especially if the bottom is fairly clean. More likely to catch some Mondo shell crackers that way too!

I was actually able to get out about three times that week. Here’s the last vid from that week it rained. A couple weeks ago, I think? Rios were still biting and I had a surprise bonus cat that snapped my line at the knot after I put him on the bank! Hope y’all enjoy!
