We will have a ton of kids. We have at least 50lbs of candy ready to go. And special full size bar gift bags for my kids friends that show up.

I bought a few lbs of candy the first couple of years after I moved into my apartment. I see quite a few kids running around the complex and at the pool. I left the light on, got ready for some trick or treaters and not a single knock. Ungrateful little bastards!

That's cause you set up shop in your van with a 'Free Candy' sign painted on it. Pervert!

I am on the top of the street so if I see a van full of 'non-locals' start to unload in front of my house I tell them to not to even bother heading towards the door. I speak in English and if they can't seem to understand or heed my warning, I have a little bowl of unwrapped/stuck together 1960's candy that is sitting next to the bowl of good candy that they can see and then ask them if they want any.

No, this time I was actually in my apartment. That's why I thought it was so strange. When I set up the van I usually get quite a few takers.

I live on a busy road, I never get any. Lights will be out but if someone knocks I'll give them a Budlight.

Tru-dat! My kids are grown and I still like handing it out. Mom and I try and outguess the other on what costumes they are. Most of the time my wife whips me well. I believe I bought $75 last year and handed all of it out...even ran out! Then, I did the blackout because mainly it's the older ones that just jump our hood by the carloads later in the evening.

This year we're taking the kids out trick or treating rather than staying home and scaring the little rugrats.

Gonna be COLD!!

None for us, we will be watching the kid play football out of town. There are no houses within 4 miles of ours anyway, so the only ones we ever get are the ones we invite. The wife usually fixes them up with sugar cookies.
