The search is on Leo! I do not fish Fayette much. I would say that they are laying in deeper water on a creek bed or somewhere over by the out take in deeper water! hmmm It amazes me that week after week all spring/summer long and into early fall that super sunfish slabs by the 50's to 100's are being caught and then all of a sudden nothing. nuts They have to be somewhere! hide2

gar...That's the million dollar question...Where do they go in the winter? Last winter I spent a fair amount of time searching & can tell you a lot of spots they are not at. This is my process of eliminating unproductive water. It is the same process I used a few years back to locate the summer spots when I first started fishing for these guys.I recently purchased an updated lake Fayette fishing map, and plan on continuing the process. This coming week myself, doctorxring, and rionator will be giving it another try using the latest & greatest electronics. Last week I tried one specific tree field in deeper water, and one of the creek channels winding through a tree field. Nothing-eliminated ...moving on. The search continues...
