From what you've described, I'm also thinking its this. It happened suddenly and happened when you were already on plane. Its running a cylinder short. Check the spark plugs, wires, and ignition coils. I just had the same issue. Thought it was fuel related and eventually saw the bad plug terminal.

I have had this same exact thing happen twice. Both times it was a bad coil.

After it bogged down and died what happened? Easy restart and smooth idle?

It never died, was running and the boat just came to a stop, almost as if it was put into neutral. It never stopped running and ran smoothly. I could give it slight throttle and it would idle but when I gave it more to get on plane it just would rev up and not go anymore.

It’s either the prop or your lower is shot.

Probably not, unless you have a Rider that will cover mechanical failure.

You'll have to read your policy... there is probably a summary page that will give you an overview of coverage.
