I know a guy that fishes nothing but St. Croix Bass X rods. They're $99 at BPS. Seems to be a pretty good rod for the money.

Ended up with a TFO and managed to once again not get killed between Boerne and S.A. Good job, boocat!  I was gonna mention the Dobyns Fury line of rods, but that could be your next purchase. LOL. They're also an excellent buy for the bucks.
