I might drop a dead stick rig in for s***s and grins tomorrow to see what happens.
I have not been on Texoma since March so I figure much of my day tomorrow will be spent first trying to find bait and trying to find a few fish.

If you don't mind my asking, what is a dead stick rig?
I will be there tomorrow practicing for a bass tournament. Last Saturday the water temp started at 71 at day break and was 76 when I left. I was targeting black bass but got a couple big stripers on a crankbait near Platter Flats. The smaller guys were schooling up top but the big stripers were in the rocks where the the structure broke from 18 f.o.w. into the main channel. Definitely a fun fight on a glass cranking rod.

Thank you, ChaserWF. I was on Texoma last Saturday, water temp was 68 degrees throughout the day. I'm very interested to see how the conditions are now after the rain and cold snap. Going back up Saturday and Sunday.

I have not been on Texoma since March so I figure much of my day tomorrow will be spent first trying to find bait and trying to find a few fish. Barry stokes did an episode few years ago on lake Lewisville where he was deadsticking mid october and caught hybrids. I dont remember the temp outside then but it was alot warmer than what we are experiencing now.
