Wow - round 2 was pretty wicked. Very high winds and lots of rain at 12:30 to keep you up.

I wasn’t expecting the second front.

Weather guys blew this one. They predicted just a few small spotty storms before the front. They did say some of these isolated storms could be strong. Now this was early in the day.

Did they even issue tornado warnings for y’all? We had a small one in a neighborhood here but they had issued warnings for it

we were under tornado watch 2 hours before they came trough, heard sirens 15-20 minutes ahead of them. That is in Farmers Branch a couple miles from the damage....round 2 severe storm forecast was also early.

We had 2 bouts of the rain...one around 9 PM & again around Midnight

It was blowing....cracking...wind....it was bad! We had the storm shelter ready to go.

Was watching radar and apps for weather. Multiple updates during the storms. Tornado watch, sever thunderstorm, etc...

I watched the light show for about 2 hrs.

been a long time since I have seen a storm with that much cloud - cloud lightning. second round had a lot of ground to cloud goin on.

I think the cold front was a lot stronger than they were saying it was, 50-55 mph is a strong front.
