The American Cancer Society in association with the Ray Hubbard Bass Cub and our title sponsors Prestige Ford and Rad Rides are proud to announce the Fourth Annual Fish For A Cure benefit tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard! Here are the details.

• When: Sunday October 27th
• Where: Lake Ray Hubbard - Chandlers Landing Ramp (10.00 launch fee to be paid at registration)
• Time: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Registration: 5:00 - 7:30 AM
• Entry Fee: $150.00 per boat - 2 person maximum
• Each tournament participant gets an event t-shirt
• Guaranteed win payout of $3500.00
• $1000 Big Bass payout - Two places ($750/$250)
• Skeeter Real Money qualified tournament!

All proceeds from this tournament go directly to the American Cancer Society for the fight against cancer. This is a team tournament. One or two people per boat. You can register in person the morning of the event, or on line. A link to on line registration will be provided at the bottom of this post. Our Tournament Director this year will be Larry Ladnier with Victory Fishing, a long time Ray Hubbard fixture. He will have the weigh in stage set up for registration/check in Sunday morning beginning at 5:00 in the parking lot at Chandlers Landing Marina. Once you have registered and had your live well check done, you may trailer to a ramp of your choice. First cast is at 7:00AM. Lines must be out of the water at 3:00PM. You must be in line to weigh your fish at Chandlers Landing Marina by 4:00PM. Entry fee is $150.00 and that includes big bass.

After you register, you will have the opportunity to buy tickets for our drawing and additional event t-shirts. Tickets will be $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. A full list of prizes will be posted here soon, but the prizes are great and the list is growing daily! Shirts will be $20.00, short or long sleeve. We will have breakfast tacos and coffee or water along with gift bags for all of the teams participating. Fishing should be great!

If you or your business is interested, sponsorships are available from $250.00 - $2500.00. Each level has a few more benefits. Every sponsorship of $500.00 or more comes with at least one free tournament entry. Billy Dyson was one of the truly nice guys associated with TFF and the local fishing circles. Remembering him as well as all family and friends that have dealt with cancer makes this event even more important. Hope everyone has a chance to join us for this benefit.

In 2013 when I was going through chemo, Billy was a voice of hope and was constantly uplifting me and he was full of joy when I went in to remission. He fought the fight with courage and faith and good humor. He was an example to everyone. This is for him and everyone out there that has been in the fight or is going through it now

This is the best tournament of the year in the DFW area, and it benefits such a great cause! There's not anyone out there who's lives haven't been affected by cancer in some way. The team at Ray Hubbard Bass Club along with the American Cancer Society continue to grow this event every year. They're raising impressive amounts of money each year and it's going straight into research for the fight against cancer. If you're fishing this weekend, it needs to be in this tournament! The weather is going to be perfect, the fishing is going to be great, the raffle prizes are insane, the entry fees are tax deductible.....Oh and your Cowboys have a bye week.....you're officially out of excuses!....See you Sunday morning at Chandler's Landing!

Sorry you guys can't make it out Joel and thank you. Your Dad and millions like him are the reason we are doing this event.
