Looks like Thursday is going to be a good day to fish across East Texas.
Gonna start out cool but it's going to be calm. Should be a Great Day!

Every day is a good day if you can go. I don't think I have ever went fishing and wanted to be somewhere else.

Took my own advice and fished today. Started slow this morning with the cold, cloudy weather. Fishing picked up after lunch and ended up keeping a limit.
For the 1st time the cold front energized the crappie and put them on the feed. Schools of Shad everywhere feeding on the surface. Bass were joining in and schooling in a number of places on the lake today.
Any cover in 9' of water was the deal. On Side imaging it looked like a Christmas tree when you trolled past the crappie. Water was 71 degrees. We may have turned the corner into fall fishing with fish stocking up on Shad before winter gets here.
Tomorrow should be the same as today, moderate wind. Crappie bit the best when the wind picked up a little out of the south and east. Fishing was slow when the lake was calm.

A calm lake is tough to get bit on...... I'm enjoying actually getting a Thump for a change.... Nice catches.....
