back in 77 had one toss me out of bed in thousand oaks. got my attention pretty good.

I was in Pacifica last week. Stopped there for lunch at the golf course before heading to San Fran airport for flight home - the lamb shank was delicious. Hope the "big one" does not put the course out of commission for awhile.

lol, one of my aunts was asst. principal at camarillo high school in the 50s/60s, retired in about 65.

I was out there for a condo job in westlake village, grandparents lived in camarillo. I was born at port hueneme naval base.

I was in Thousand Oaks in 94 in a hotel when I was awakened by what I thought was a semi parked outside my room that was left running. I went to the window and there was no semi and quickly realized that it was a tremor. I was just in my tighty-whiteys and thought I better get dressed in case I had to make a run for safety. I sat in my dark room for hours all dressed just waiting for the 'Big One' that night but only had about 4 more tremors.

We lived in Murrieta Valley/Lake Elsinore for 5 years which had the Whitaker Fault right under us and many times our pool would get 2 foot swells from tremors but never had more than a 4.3 quake. .
