So bees can make a grown human run in fright like a big baby, but they can’t eradicate mites in their own hives? Bees are bigger wusses than I thought.

Dude, it's your problem if they make you run screaming like a little girl. I will point and laugh at you loudly and repeatedly. If I can be elbow deep scraping the inside of the hive wearing a tank top and shorts with full frames on either side of my arm, you can gtf over yourself.

Never said they make me run like a little girl. But I have seen many people do it so I wrote that on the assumption that others have too. It can be considered a normal fright reaction seen when some people (actually probably a big percentage of people) get close to a bee. I would have no problem harvesting honey in my banana hammock...those things don’t scare me.
