The cap has finally been broken. First rain on my yard since labor day. Hope it doesn't break the grass.

Had just over 1.25 inches of rain in the last 12 hours!!! That's the good news. Bad news -- we have a lightening strike close to our house about 9:30 last night. One of those "see the flash and hear the VERY LOUD boom at the same time" strikes. It appears that the only casualty was our internet modum, which got fried, forcing me to hotspot my laptop from my phone this morning. As soon as the sun wakes up I'll do a visual check of the outside.

We got hammered about 8:50. High winds and golf ball hail at the restaurant.

Of course the weather made a big change. My trolling motor broke Monday fishing at Lake Bridgeport and I had to put it in the shop. Probably won't get it back for 10 days.
