Funny this post comes up today, I stopped by a dealer yesterday looking at a gator-
I really like them but they are sure proud of them-
I’m leaning toward a Kawasaki mule as of now, still plan to get over and look at the new tracker brand off road side by sides-
I want more than a hopped up golf cart is, but I just don’t see a need for the 4 wheel drive where I will be using it-

But replacement parts I’ll eventually need will play a part in what I decide, glad you posted this up-

I replaced mine last year and went for the upgraded shocks and it seems like they were around $118. If I find the paperwork, I'll verify. The place that works on my John Deere equipment is not a dealer.

My neighbor just bought a Ranger. He shopped around for a while and said Brinson in Corsicana had the best deal. They also sell Mules. If you go down there eat at Old Mexican Inn. You can thank me later.

We have owned Rangers, Mules and Gators. We got rid of them and now just have Can Am's. Best machines hands down. Second best is the Gators. I had close to 7000 miles on my Gator and it still fired right up.

Replacement parts for a Kawasaki Mule are equally stupid expensive if you insist on OEM.
We have an older Mule 550, Polaris Ranger 700, and a Kubota 1140 diesel.
The Mule and the Kuboata are reliable beasts, the Polaris, not so much!

I was planning on checking out Brinson, that ranger I was told only had a 1 year warranty, gator had 2 year, mule has 3 years, not sure what exact that means, but duly noted-
Isn’t that Mexican inn the place that has some good tortilla chips?

all can am out here now, at least as good as a polaris ranger and probably a little better due to some standard stuff that polaris doesn't even offer.

now have 3, 1 defender max, 1 defender mx 3 person and an mx max. can't wait to try the new one with tracks.

have had all of them here and these and polaris have been the absolute best. mules got stuck too easy due to weight but are solid since it is mostly metal construction, all the others use a ton of plastic.
rhino was pretty fast and seldom got stuck but was a pain to work on.
honda (only had one) was a good rig but awful expensive when compared to the can am or polaris.

Completely different Mexican Inn than the one Beer Money was talking about. This is their only location. Orange dip is killer.

I've got a 550 too. It's a hauler. Nothing will stop it, it's got 19 years on original Kawasaki engine.
Starts with one hit of the key.

All side by side parts are expensive. Most of the time you can’t even find them aftermarket and that’s when it gets really expensive. I would check amazon, I’ve been able to find some aftermarket parts for a side by side for about 1/4 of the price as the OE part.
