Fished Fayette last Friday, thinking this week would be a bust with the "cold" front. Water temp was 87-90 degrees and the water level was down 4-6 inches. I learned that there are way more boats out on Fridays than Mondays or Tuesdays. Ended up wit 82 fish. The sunfish are starting to transition from the reedbeds out to deeper water. Fewer big fish caught than previous trips, but still got a decent number of slabs. There was a boat parked on my "secret" roadbed most of the morning, so concentrated on trees and dam area a lot. Plan on going in the morning since the weather look good. Here is a quick 10 minute video of last Fridays trip.Fayette 10-4-19

Yeah, that “cold front” wasn’t much and things are recovering quickly. The front coming this Friday looks like it will have a little more punch.

Great video and love the sound track ! My only opportunity this week will be Wednesday. Thinking about going out myself on that day. Good luck in the morning !

Love that Bluegill action! That water looks glass clam. As always thanks for posting! woot

Side Note: Looks like the water temperatures are cooling down some! I have also noticed less activity in the reed beds the last time I fished Fayette. Two friends of mine fished Fayette this past Sunday and said the fish have moved out of the reed beds and into a little deeper water. They also said that they could not find any Rios. hide2
