I have not been successful casting with stubbys.
Do you do an overhead or side cast motion or use a pendulem motion as in flipping with stubbys?
Do you thicken it before casting?

I cast it overhand. If the bait is hot, put it in a cooler for a little bit and let it firm up a bit. Donโ€™t sling it like a crankbait

Ok Stubby keep the stuff on the shelf. E eryone is ising ot now. I took my boat to car wash and stubby dropped by and asked my coanglers if stubbys eas on board. They told him it was full of his bait. Stubby then walked up to my yrick and recognized me. Stubby is quick to give you a hint when you are struggling to catch fish. I have on several occasoons called him and he will say my guide bost is sitting in 1.5 foot deep or maybe 33. Sometimes the depth really is all you need to know. Stubby fishes the lake every day so he knows more than most about the carfishing. I got to tell you littlewheel is pretty well versed on the art also.

If you want to use a bait casting reel get some of those little stinker plastic bait holder for their bait in a tube. Pack it in there as much as you can, works great.
