Greg , i dont fish L.L. but I can tell you this... the shad are spawning they will be in the shallows before putting your boat in try the ramp....then the docks...go early.....2 hours before sun up or sooner.... try the lighted dock at this time when the sun comes up look for them running the banks ..if ever there was an easy time to catch shad now is the time ...swimming areas are good also before the kids get there...boat ramps ...and rocky points be careful on the rock points dont let your net fall to the bottom....

P.S listen and watch listen for them to snap the top of the water and watch them do the same..sorry to say but not many people are going to give up much more than that ...dont get discouraged and treat it just like you would finding fish ...keep hunting for them when you find them it can be jist as much fun catching them as it is the game fish!maybe thats just me but I do take great pleasure in catching both...

Usually real early in the morning as the sun is beginning to rise you can find them on sandy banks. Like stated above try the boat ramp before you launch your boat.

couple weeks ago they were THICK on wind blown points in the 121 cut area in the brush and against the shore. They were so thick I'd snag them on the retrieve with the humdinger.

I don't really know what to type here.
