Fished today with Pete and we caught and released 73 nice slabs by noon. Bigger fish hit after 9 AM.
Fish bit best on 1.25" slab bandits, Color didn't matter as long as it was texas toast or similar.
Cool, perfect wind and deserted lake.
Fall is here.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ernest today while on the lake. I have to say he is eager to help out and with some tips from him I ended up having the best day of crappie fishing I've ever had. Granted I'm new to crappie fishing but I'm appreciative of the advice Ernest was willing to share. In my opinion he exemplifies what this forum is all about. Thank you Ernest! I hope we can chat again in the future.
