In order for alligators to thrive, they need moist mud for their eggs to incubate.

Most of the Rio Grande area is rocky shoreline (they can't dig into it efficiently, so the eggs would dry out and die in the arid environment)

Yeah, ok that makes sense actually. Thanks Doc.

Also why they would not be in the Colorado.

Most of the banks of Choke Canyon are rocky as hell, and gators are definitely (defiantly) thriving in there.

All the gill nets probably doesn't help.

never work. Gators prefer creole and soul food, not Mexican.

What about snakes though? The reports are the president wanted gators AND snakes to be added to handle the illegals.

Which now a days are mostly Salvadorian. I have a friend from El Salvador and have sampled the cuisine a good deal. Its not the same as Mexican for sure. Do the gators like that AND would snakes AND gators work?

Nile crocs would be an interesting addition.

Thanks Jack Hanna.

Somebody just had to try to impress a bunch of men by being the alligator expert.

Iโ€™m not impressed by his alligator prowess.
