Yep cue the paid Activists but personally I thought she would get at least 20. That said the jury was mostly African American not sure how anyone can say the trial was not fair. Where is this outrage for the Black on Black crime that never seems to stop. IMHO racism these days is a business that the flames are fanned by the liberal media and paid Activists.

In doing the 10 most likely out in 5.. That's a considerable amount in protective custody, they will not put her in general population, she wouldn't make it a week. I expected at lest double the time she received but the jury has spoken and it's all over but the crying. Both sides are at odds over the sentence.

Black judge, mostly black jury of 8 women and 4 men unanimously vote guilty of murder and unanimously vote 10 years.....nothing to protest

Being ex police and going to prison creates a particular challenging set of circumstances. If what is on TV is true she will not be in gen pop (big house lingo) and her stay is likely to be very isolated. Perhaps she can do some good and teach a class or something. If I was on her correspondence list I would send her a nice book to read for her birthday and Christmas. RIP Mr. Jean
