For you guys that don't have an OTA antenna, there is an App already on the Dish box called Locast that you can stream your local channels from using your internet. Go to your menu and find the Apps icon and you will see it. You have to provide your e-mail address and set up a password. I tried the Dish provided antenna, and it did'nt work out to well due to trees blocking signal. Watching Fox 4 off of Locast App now. At least I can watch football now until they get their dispute worked out.

I can't find it on my Dish Network. Are you using some other app/device like Roku or ChromeCast

Machinist, push the button on your Dish remote with the house symbol, select menu at the top of the screen, locate the apps symbol and go into it. Locast should be in there.

Is there a charge for this? You have to sign-on with an e-mail address and password.

No charge. The only inconvenience so far is that it takes about 30 seconds to load. Other than that, itโ€™s good clear HD signal.

They havenโ€™t taken away our local fox station yet. Be just fine with me if they did since they have me in the Shreveport market.

I didn't know Dish had a built in app until this thread. I downloaded the app though my tv app store and switch from Dish to it. Locast works great. I'll look for it through Dish tonight.

Just hit the menu button. If you have one of the black remotes then it is right under the SAT button in the upper left hand corner. It has 3 horizontal lines.

I appreciate the help but I think my box must not have Locast. When I go to the menu it shows different things but nothing about apps. There is a Dish Home there but it doesn't have apps either.

You will most likely have to scroll down on to see it. On mine it is the third row down beside The Weather Channel app.
