Looks like we have a legitimate contender. thru 5 games he has almost 1000 yards including 25 carries for 296 yards against Kansas State. Go Chuba Hubbard!

You need to let the Heisman voters know that there are several universities in the state. In the last 16 years there have been 4 QBs that won for the state of Oklahoma, but none of them had the word "State" in the name of the school.
Full disclosure … it hurts me to make that statement.

If the Gundy Mullets could have beat Texas I would agree with you. But the fact that the Kansas State game was on pay per view and the fact that the front runners are from blue blood schools with daily hype will make it impossible. The race will be between Tua and Jalen. Burrow and Taylor will have a couple of losses and that will take them out.

Chuba Hubbard is hands down the best running back in the Big XII, I also like their QB. There are just to many good QB's this year and the running back at Wisc. is getting all the media love even though Hubbard is way ahead of him.

The UT quarterback may be a real Heisman contender. The last play of the game he took it on himself to run for the first down to insure the UT win. Tom Herman has had a maddening tendency to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. That was another reason why I love Sam Ehliger. He wants the win and he is not happy to sit on a lead until you lose the game like Tom Herman loves to do.
