My wife's family is having a reunion on the lake next weekend. Any suggestions on baits and depths for black bass would be appreciated. I want to just take my brother in law out
a couple of mornings and catch a few fish just to be fishing. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

squarebills and/or bandit crankbaits in chartruese/black back always work around the rip rap near the bridges on the southeast end of the lake. If the water temp is below 80 I catch em pretty good on a spinnerbait around the docks with deeper water on the ends. Shaky heads and senkos flipped under the docks can catch some good ones too. Good luck.
