Wife,(Judy) submitted some of her recipes to this years State Fair
1st place Blue Ribbon Sweet Pickles (bread and butter)
1st place Blue Ribbon Apricot Butter Jam
3rd place White Ribbon Peach Habenero
Ribbons and products are displayed in The Creative Arts Bldg
*Not her 1st Rodeo 2018 results
2nd place Red Ribbon Apple Butter Jam
2nd place Red Ribbon Pickled Brussels Sprouts
Honorable Mention Yellow Ribbon Pickled Spicy Carrots,Tomatillo Salsa,Salvodor Dillies (dill pickles)

That's about as good as you can get. There must have been a lot of entries. My wife used to win in small county fairs. I could never figure how they could decide as they all looked good to me.

I enjoyed this competition at the fair years ago. The ladies were artist the way they would arrange the product in the jar.
