I caught this trout yesterday at the Flagship Hotel in Galveston at night. It measured 28.5 inch. This is a great week-end to fish Galveston. Live shrimp is the way to go.

Take 45 south to Galveston. Once you pass over the causeway bridge take the 61st street exit. Stay in the right hand lane on the feeder and I am the second bait shop. Uncle Bucks bait and tackle shop. 409-744-BAIT. Fishing has been active already this year. You will have a great time. See ya Soon.

Nice fish! I grew up in Port Arthur, and fished Sabine Lake and the surrounding areas, and also the coast from Cameron to Galveston Bay, and I've never seen a trout that big (other than pics).

NICE trout man! I would love to get down there, and might be able to this summer since i am interning in houston. never fished houston or galveston area since i am from down south.
