While first reading this^^ I thought...there’s no way the Chicago Chamber of Commerce can use any of these quotes. But the you wrote that last sentence and totally redeemed yourself!

Chicago is much better than going to NYC, but late late spring is the time to go.

My wife and daughter will be in Chicago December 13-16 for a cheer competition. Me and the boy decided to sit this trip out. From your description, I’m glad we made that decision.

Go to Wrigley Field and have a beer and pretend you were there the evening of November 2, 2016.
And maybe take a second beer, maybe a Bud, and pour it at the base of the Harry Caray statue.

Been there in January before. Wind chill at a blistering -37. Driving by Soldier Field was pretty cool.

My son goes there for his job time to time and loves it. He took my wife once in February and Chicago and she loved it, said it was a cool city with a lot to see. We plan on going this year ourselves.

Ride the El , which is a subway that is partially elevated. If you've never ridden on a subway, it will be worth the experience.
